# Create / Update Linkedin Campaigns

Create a new Linkedin outreach campaign by selecting the "Campaigns" tab.

## **Pre-requisites for creating a new campaign**

* You've [connected your Linkedin account](/apps/linkedin-outreach/accounts/connect-a-new-linkedin-account.md) to Big Brain.
* You've created a [message sequence](/apps/linkedin-outreach/messages/create-a-message-sequence-update-existing-message-sequences.md).

{% hint style="info" %}
You can still create a campaign if you haven't yet done all of the above steps, but you'll need to come back and edit the campaign with the rest of the information after you've completed the remaining steps.
{% endhint %}

Once you've done the above, you're ready to create a new campaign.

## Create a New Linkedin Outreach Campaign

1. Navigate to the [Campaigns](https://www.big-brain.co/app/linkedin-outreach#campaigns) tab of the Linkedin Outreach app.
2. Fill out the Campaign Form. Click Show Campaign Helper to view existing lists, Linkedin Account IDs, and Sequence IDs. You can copy values from here into the Campaign form.

{% hint style="info" %}
If you just created a new sequence, you may need to wait a few minutes for the IDs to populate in the campaign helper.
{% endhint %}

3. Click "Create Campaign."

## Create a List with the Data Cleaning App

Now that you've created your campaign, you're ready to create a prospect list to target. Follow the steps in the Data Cleaning app, select Linkedin as a target.

{% content-ref url="/pages/m7sSmDjGQwo05mOnK6FU" %}
[Data Cleaning](/apps/data-cleaning.md)
{% endcontent-ref %}

Use the Campaign Helper to get the Linkedin Campaign ID. Use the Linkedin Campaign ID when selecting Linkedin as a destination to map contacts in that list to your newly created Linkedin campaign.

{% hint style="info" %}
If you just created a new campaign, you may need to wait a few minutes for the Campaign IDs to populate in the campaign helper.
{% endhint %}

## Clean Prospect List

The final step is to create a prospect list to add to your Linkedin campaign.
